Grand Hyatt Vail - 6 million dollar remodel on existing riverfront Vail Resort. Pieces include but not limited to Slat walls with LED strip lighting, massive ceiling wood fixtures, custom divider screens, metal wine racks behind the bar, custom metal portals, multiple service station and host stands, display built-ins, metal clad ceilings, floating shelves, interior and exterior T&G.

Status: Closed December 2023

Challenges:

  • Constantly changing scope.

  • Large discrepancies between architectural plans and on-site dimensions, combined with client need for the urgency of built-in pieces.

  • Incorporating continuous LED lighting into millwork in a way that is easy for the electrician.

  • Combining architect-requested styles while functioning within ADA requirements.

  • Hanging metal wine racks.
